If you've clicked on this part of the website, I guess you'd like to know a little bit about me and what makes me tick.  Y'know, besides a heart, lungs, internal organs and all that jazz.

I'm a professional artist located in Ontario, Canada.  I specialize in traditional art, specifically gouache, focusing on comics, pop culture and sci-fi.  But, it hasn't always been my gig.

Like many artists before me, many artists now and many that will follow when I'm gone, I held down a regular job.  For 30 years.  During that time I practiced and honed my skills.  If I had a day off, I was drawing.  Or taking a course.  Or watching Youtube videos.  I cultivated relationships with other artists, and even a couple of industry pros that helped guide me along.  Anything I could use to help me improve.  I had periods of growth, plateaus, artistic slumps and even regression from time to time.  It was a lot of work and investment, both in money and time.  I sometimes wondered if it would ever pay off.

In 2019, the moment finally arrived, as I received my very first professional assignment;  creating a poster for the iconic 60's TV show, The Prisoner.

I've had more assignments since then, along with increased interest from folks wanting private commissions.  The portfolio has grown, and I even set up at comic cons and collectible shows from time to time.

But, you may ask; what is the ultimate goal?

Licenced work with Marvel and DC comics, hopefully a cover assignment at some point.  My artistic Mt. Everest is working on The Incredible Hulk.  The big green guy is my all time favourite. It would be my crowning achievement to get the call to illustrate something for Marvel Comics.

Will it happen?  I sure hope so.  Stick around, follow me on socials and find out.

Can I do it?  Like the old saying goes " Put me in, coach. "

I've asked my dog the same questions, but his response is always the same;  " If this doesn't involve a walk, treats or snuggles, I can't help you. "   I think he likes my artwork, though.  Hopefully, so will you.
